Review of Napoleon Dynamite (2004) by Braxton C — 07 Jan 2019

Napoleon Dynamite is just such a great movie overall. Its funny, dumb, smart, and cringy all in one, (which I didnï¿ 1/2(TM)t think was even humanly possible.) It looks like me and my friends could probably make it and it's like a 200 dollar film.

But all round it got popular and everyone I know loves it! It starts off with his grandmother getting in a rad four-wheeler accident. So his Uncle Rico comes to stay with him and his brother Kip, which I think is weird because Kip is graduated, and Napoleon is in High School.

He is safe no where. He gets bullied by his uncle and his brother at home and is bullied at school too. He is super sarcastic and is never taken serious, except for the new Spanish kid he meets and shows around the school, Pedro.

Pedro and Napoleon become best friends and do lots of weird stuff together. One of my favorite parts of the movie is where Napoleon and Pedro are jumping Pedroï¿ 1/2(TM)s bike, and Napoleon jumps the bike and breaks the jump, and hits his nuts on the seat and Pedro says, ï¿ 1/2You got like 3 feet of air that time.

ï¿ 1/2? They also become friends with this girl named Deb. She sells boondoggles and does photoshoots for money. They all kind-of become friends, though they donï¿ 1/2(TM)t know that yet. Napoleon is part of the FFA, (future farmers of America.

) So he goes to a local farmers chicken house and has to move all of the chickens to a different part of the house. Then they get fed egg yolks and sandwiches with flies for lunch, and warm milk. It personally look like the nastiest thing they couldï¿ 1/2(TM)ve gave them to eat, but without fail Napoleon is the first to grab a sandwich and tries to drink so egg yolks.

He immediately gets gagged by the horrible taste and almost throws up. Him and Pedro really want to go to PROM. Pedro really thinks that Meg is hot and wants to ask her out. Napoleon really likes this girl named Trisha .

He asks her out with a picture. Meanwhile, he finds that Kip has a new girlfriend named LaFawnduh. She makes him not a nerd, and a hip new gangster. He also finds a time machine one the counter, turns it on and shocks himself all over his body.

Kip and Uncle Rico were going to sell it, but thought of a new business idea, selling 15,24, or 30 pieces of tupperware bowls. They didnï¿ 1/2(TM)t make very much money, like 80 bucks a day, but they thought they were getting really rich.

By now, Napoleon was almost ready for PROM, and bought a brand new brown suit. He is at Prom with Trisha and she ditches him. He finds Pedro and Deb and they hang out for a little bit. Pedro lets Napoleon dance with Deb, and they definitely hit it off.

After the dance Pedro decides that he wants to run for the class president of the school. He has to run against basically the most popular girl in school, named Summer. She has some pins that say, ï¿ 1/2Vote for Summer, for summer all yearï¿ 1/2ï¿ 1/2? So Pedro and Napoleon have to come up with something good, which they do.

Napoleon stays up all night and makes posters for Pedro. They go to school early the next morning and put them up everywhere. On the urinals, lockers, and over Summerï¿ 1/2(TM)s posters. They even bring a Pinata that looks like Summer.

Pedro gets in trouble and has to take down all of his posters. When the day of the election, pedro talks, and is super nervous and like no one claps for him, so he is super depressed when he walks off the stage, but Napoleon has something really cool planned.

He does this really cool dance, and after it, everyone stands up and applauded him. Then he runs off really awkwardly. Pedro ends up winning(probably because of Napoleon.) Napoleon's grandma comes back from the hospital, and Napoleon make his Uncle Rico leave and never come back, or heï¿ 1/2(TM)ll call the cops.

LaFawnduh has to leave and Kips goes with her. They get married and Napoleon shows up on a horse, he claims he tamed. Kip and LaFawnduh ride off in the sunset, and Napoleon is speechless, except for one word, ï¿ 1/2Lucky.
