If you've ever wanted to be an eskimo, this flick is for you. And if you haven't, maybe this movie will change your mind. The commonality of man, woman, the hunt. Yes Nanook died of starvation 2 years after this movie and I kept thinking that the seals were happy about that.
But that being said, you never feel sorry for Nanook or his family. They seem about as happy as any humans could be.
