Review of Nanny McPhee (2005) by Eva R — 05 May 2009
Nanny McPhee is my life. I love Nanny McPhee, it is my favourite film ever made, every night I lie awake at night dreaming of Nanny McPhee, I long to be her. The part in which Nanny McPhee's first wart makes itself dispapear sends shivers down my spine, it is simply beautiful.
My imaginary friends and I host a weekly Nanny McPhee apreciation club, in which we re create scenes from the film and discuss our favourite parts. We each have a membership card, in which is displayed our name, age and favourite scene.
I wish Nanny McPhee would marry me, I am somewhat in love with her. Every day I wake up and the first thing I think of is Nanny McPhee, and before I eat luncheon I think of Nanny McPhee. I watch Nanny McPhee six times each day, and seven times each Sunday.
I bring the dvd everywhere I go. I have no friends but it doesn't matter because I have Nanny McPhee. At school I write all my essays on the subject of Nanny McPhee. Every day I wish and long to be part of her wonderful world.
When I die I wish to be buried with my Nanny McPhee dvd. I have made a toy Nanny McPhee and I carry it everywhere and sing it lullabyes and talk to it. I wish I looked like her. I wish I was her. Nanny McPhee is my everything.
Without Nanny McPhee, my life would be meaningless. I know it is strange to have such passionate feelings towards a film, but the message is so strong and beautiful. The most incredible piece of cinema ever.
The acting is simply stunning and gorgeous, it brings tears to my beady eyes and brings light to my dull, grey, limp life. I have 10 pet voles which I have named after the principal characters of Nanny McPhee.
The largest of my voles is named Nanny McPhee. If I ever marry and have children (only with Nanny McPhee/Mr Brown) I will name them Nanny and McPhee. I will home school them and teach them the ways of Nanny McPhee.
I may start a Nanny McPhee religion named McPheeism, of which Nanny McPhee is worshipped as a goddess. THIS IS THE GREATEST FILM KNOWN TO HUMANITY AND YOU MUST SEE IT OR YOU WILL DIE.
