An enjoyable family film with an all-star cast that pleases but doesn't linger in the memory afterwards. Probably this is due to the fact that the film it most closely resembles (in story anyway) is Mary Poppins and you just can't compete with that.
However everyone looks like they're having fun and it's filmed imaginatively. Good script from Thompson too.
