Emma Thompson uglies herself up to play this magical nanny. She does it with relish. With a single utterance of Hmmmm, she says more than another actress would say with a full six page speech. The kids do a remarkable job, they are cute without being sacharine sweet.
Led by the older brother played by Freddie Highmore(Charlie&Chocolate Factory), they prove to be a wild but tameable bunch. If you have the right kind of magic. I watched this with my two little girls, and enjoyed them getting into the story as much as I did myself.
This makes for a good time with the family. Check It Out.
