Review of Nanny McPhee (2005) by David N — 03 Aug 2010
Nanny McPhee is a story much akin to the well known Mary Poppins story.
It's a great family movie that can easily be seen by yourself, but I would recommend you see it with your children. It's a predictable movie and you know from the start where this movie is headed.
None-the-less this is a movie that strikes right at the heart and leaves you with a warm feeling, particular due to the stunning performances of the actors. I've always been a fan of British actors and I must point out that especially "Angela Lansbury", "Imelda Staunton", and of course "Emma Thompson" turned the movie into a enjoyable warm and heartfelt experience, with ease.
Definitely worth a view.
