Watched Nanny McPhee in horror with my 7-year old daughter yesterday; can such gender stereotypes really still be around???; Very ugly Nanny gets magically prettier as children are more and more well behaved; plain, virtuous maid gets "Eliza-make-over" and beating "vulgar and evil", i.
E. confident & sexually voracious widow to win heart of "Mr Darcy-dad" (literally).
