Review of Nanking (2007) by Douglas H — 22 Jun 2008
The use of actors in a documentary threw me at first, but I forgot all about that in 5 minutes. This movie is so cold in its cataloguing of horrors I felt misanthropic after. This is not an easy movie to watch, not "entertainment" in any sense of the word, but one cannot afford to be ignorant of this story, if only so that nothing of the sort may ever happen again.
