Review of Nancy Drew (2007) by Krystal L — 04 Jun 2008
This movie was just the right blend of adorable and exciting. There was a good story in the mystery and Nancy Drew was prim and proper as always, which was always my favorite part of the books - save the day without getting your kneesocks dirty.
The film seemed to begin in the middle of another story, leaving me feeling a little out of the loop, though I soon caught up. And the ending was classic for the Drew books, wrapped up with the suggestion of another mystery on the horizon.
Emma Roberts was perfect as Drew, and of course, Tate Donovan was amazing as her distracted dad - though the adorable Tate Donovan is amazing as pretty much anything.
