As a fan of the books, the movie is highly disappointing. If you're a Nancy Drew books fan, don't go into this movie thinking that it'll be like one of the books. HOWEVER, it is a good movie for kids to watch. It is highly entertaining and something that kids can appreciate with no violence and limited moral meaning.
Conclusion, not a bad movie, just horrible if you're a die-hard Nancy Drew fan.
