It's better to read the book instead...
"The 2007 attempt of Nancy Drew movie fails to be accurate or reach that childhood sentiment people were expecting.".
On a personal Level Nancy Drew was my hero, I admired her strength, generosity and Heroism. I think with Julia Roberts Producing the movie she may have been bias with casting the characters IE: Emma Roberts (her Niece). The part that really bothered me most was her sly and sneaky attempts to self permote. IE: the instyle Magazine Nancy read on the Train with Julia gracing the cover.... It was at that exact moment that I lost interest.
