Review of Naked Weapon (2002) by Garry J — 07 Nov 2006
Horrid acting, amateruish martial arts and lazy special effects with a generic plot and cheesy cliches. It's as if someone had a checklist of what a typical action movie has - exotic locales, a sex scene, guns and knives, training school for assasins, the final fight scene, a romance between the leading characters - and shoved it all inside this poorly filmed, glitch magnet of a movie.
Even the fight scenes were poorly choreographed and fantastically unrealistic, during some parts you can see they forgot to speed up the film so what you end up with is a tired, boring movie that is filled with cliches from every 2nd grade action movie you've ever seen.
Even movies like Kickboxer and Karate Kid are better made than this.
