Brilliant. David Cronenberg has a suprisingly strong grasp of the "unfilmable" novel. He takes it in his own trademark direction with stunning imagery and great performances by Peter Weller, Ian Holm and Judy Davis.
The film is not an easy pill to swallow, so it keeps you coming back.
