Incredibly amazing, by taking a controversial book which cannot possibly be adapted to the screen in any economically or phsically feasible way and a Beat generation drug maniac Cronenberg has worked wonders.
Its important to respect that Naked Lunch is about William S. Burroughs writing Naked Lunch, not necessarily the book itself, although it does splice in Mugwumps, giant bugs, and other-worldy drugs from the book.
Sterile, haunting, funny, and sexually driving all at the same time!
