I believe you have to have read the book. know about Burroughs, and like Croenberg films to enjoy this adventure-1 star for each lack of. Well, I personally thought Naked Lunch was a terrible book, fuck you too.
But, I like W.S.B. as a character and icon of revolt. Ahh, anyway, this film is rotten in some areas but the excellent narration and perfect ambience keeps it barely afloat for its exhaustable length.
