Review of Naked Lunch (1991) by Chris S — 31 Mar 2011
I want to have a taste of those hot Interzone boys, if you know what I mean. Instead of just basing the film on the novel, Cronenberg also decides to mix some biographical facts of the author, William S.
Burroughs, to the film which made it work. But this just isn't the movie for me as it is really devoid of any kind of emotion and, although I do love Cronenberg's works, this is more of a what-the-fuck film than a mind-blowing one.
No pun intended.
