I generally like David Cronenberg but this is just an incoherent mess. An exterminator escapes his troubled life by fleeing to a hallucinary world called Interzone where he writes a book. I gave this one a second chance after watching it (regretfully) in university 22 years ago.
Just too bizarre to hold any type of interest as it goes.
