Look, Jared Hess and his PG rated Wes Anderson ripoffs with fart and food jokes are terrible.
Most of the time.
Nacho Libre works because of the confident performance of Jack Black as Nacho Libre. He is so into it and so hilarious. Every eyebrow move and gesture, and even a fart here and there are great.
The rest of the movie is whatever, but Jack Black proves his comedic force in this one.
