To be honest, I think it was the fact that Jack Black played a Hispanic role. I know it wasn't the greatest comedy it could have been but I think it was damn near close. The heart and hope displayed in such a comical way made me want to watch the movie again.
It's really inspirational, an underdog. I'm always rootin' for the underdog.
