Review of Nacho Libre (2006) by Brandon W — 27 Jan 2015

Nacho Libre is a mixed bag for me which is disappointing to say at least as I like Jack Black. He still does give some laughs, but then there's some that were really a miss for me. The slapsticks are funny, but sometimes get a bit old though.

The plot is just there, and it's also predictable. It's trying to be as weird as Napoleon Dynamite, but they made it so weird that there were times that I wasn't getting entertained at all.

The acting is fine, and the fights are a bit entertaining to watch, even if it's embarrassing to watch. Nacho Libre is one of those movies that it's just there, but whether or not people would like it is up to them.

For me, it was close, but didn't succeed for me.
