Review of Nacho Libre (2006) by Francisco R — 14 Jan 2012
Memorable movie. Even though I loved it, I know why some people didn't like it, but I am a comedy lover and this is a comedy. I mean, I just laughed all the time, I just coodn't stop laughing, as funny, this is probably Jack Black's funniest role.
.. ever. Ignacio (Jack Black) is the cooker in an institution with orphans, he's dream since he was a kid was to be a wrestler, but when is grown up and he is the cooker in the instituion that is facing a financial crisis, he just grabs his dreams to squeeze and take a good thing out of it, wich is win money for better qualitys of life to the orphans.
Ignacio, or shood I say, Nacho Libre, joins Esqueleto and both of them go to a wrestling match but it almost no experince in it... Okay, this is one of the most hilarious movies I have ever seen, it's one of Jack's best role ever and this movie is very entartaining and hilarious, some people won't like it, that's for sure, you just have to understand this kind of stupid comedy played by Jack.
This movie is the same type of Napolean Dynamite, wich type I don't like that much, but this is an incredible movie. Very recommended movie. Grade: B.
