This was hysterical, with awesome music and catchy, funny phrases. Ok, so it didn't have the best story line, but neither did Napoleon. It's not about the story line-it's how clever the lines are, how interesting the characters are.
If you liked Napoleon Dynamite, you'll like this movie. If you like Jack Black and music, you'll like this movie. It's hilarious. Not every movie is meant to "analyze" and read into.
