Jack Black in Mexican Wrestling 'comedy'. Nacho Libre is the tale of a Mexican Monk, spending his days cooking leftover food for the orphans but dreaming of climbing into the squared circle to compete as a Luchador, Mexican Wrestler.
He stumbles across a competition for novice luchadors and convinces Hector Jimenez, Esqueleto, to form a tag team and take to the ring. Finding they spend most of their time losing but earning good money from their new occupation.
They decide to go pro and Nacho dreams of finding a way to overcome the losing streak and take on and beat the Champion.
