Review of Mystic River (2003) by Kyle M — 09 Sep 2014
This is Eastwood's probable best work as director as he'd directed a work with power that was energized by the well-selected cast focusing their energy on certain parts of the power's flow: Bacon represents the good as he'd performed his best yet; Robbins represent the ugly strained after his character's affected incident that changed him enough that could get him back to "Shawshank;" and Penn represents the bad with care between that and the latter two as he'd performed his best yet also. (B+).
