Review of Mystic Pizza (1988) by Edith N — 03 Aug 2012
A coming-of-age film (very much a product of its time) that consistently entertains, particularly when the engaging Annabeth Gish is the centre of the unfolding drama. Notable for early big screen appearances of Julia Roberts, Vincent D'Onofrio, and a very young Matt Damon.
A superior, enduring chick flick.
