Review of Mystery Train (1989) by Post G — 18 May 2008
Split into 3 acts, the first is a great start, with its eccentricities showcasing Jarmusch's talents. Unfortunately, the other two acts are considerably less inspiring. The second act is truly drab, and the third only marginally better, despite the presence of Steve Buscemi (and Joe Strummer).
Quite unsatisfying, as the movie seems to waste all its great scenes much too early.
