Review of Mystery Train (1989) by Helen S — 18 Feb 2010
Tarantino could learn something from this movie, I think. It is entirely possible to make the audience care for the characters withcout having them prattling on endlessly. The style of this movie is such that you get dragged into its slow pacing and as such don't need a great deal of dialogue.
The acting is good overall and the feel of the movie is great. Throw in a few hilarious scenes and you've got Jim Jarmusch best movie.
