Review of Mystery Team (2009) by Michael N — 31 May 2010

This movie is a fresh change from the typical movie formula used by big-budget studios. A major part of it's charm comes from its low-budget feel and childish humor. Sure, at some points the acting gets a bit stiff and at times the comedy is extra crude; but, the characters are engaging and the story is original.

Derrick Comedy crew has found a way to make light of a rather dark subject and poke fun at the typical coming-of-age story. All in all this movie is a must see film for people who appreciate independent films and childish comedy.
