Review of Mystery Team (2009) by Brad G — 27 Jul 2010
Imagine Scooby Doo and The Mystery Machine but without the dog, the stoner, the girls, and add two more Freds. Now, imagine that they are a bunch of has-beens who may have never been and give them an honest to goodness murder case to solve.
Communityâ??s Donald Glover leads the Freds and for the first half of the film I was cackling at one brilliant snarky one-liner after the other. Unfortunately, the film is a bit of a one trick pony. An hour in and I was good.
Definitely fun, but it wears ya down a bit. So Not VF.
