Review of Mystery Team (2009) by Alex H — 03 Apr 2011
It's such a great concept, but relies too heavily on the gimmick of its protagonists being underdeveloped man-children, and their antics wear thin after the first few scenes and just become progressively more annoying as the movie progresses.
It does have moments of brilliance though, more in the subtle humor and mannerisms of some of the cast members and some incredibly dark (morbidly hilarious) one liners from characters that appear in only a handful of scenes.
