It's pretty cool to hear about these guys' beginnings with YouTube sketches, and the material feels a bit nostalgic for those of us who spent our preteens reading about young detectives. But the end result is a mixed bag.
What could have been a pretty entertaining short film is stretched out into a feature on the strength of one joke. At some point they stop being funny and start just being sad.
