Review of Mystery Team (2009) by Nick G — 02 Jul 2011
I had heard that Donald Glover (who plays Troy on "Community") had made this movie with a few friends from a comedy troupe he's in (Derrick Comedy of the infamous "Bro Rape" video) and naturally needed to see this movie.
The story would have been genius for a TV show but this still turned out to be a pretty funny movie; probably one of the funnier ones to have been released in the last couple of years. A lot of people slept on this film which I find odd considering most of the cast is from solid NBC or Comedy Central shows.
Definitely see this if you like "Community" or if you want a break from the same old crap that has come out so far this year.
