Review of Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie (1996) by Alexander C — 10 Oct 2012

A strange concept of making a movie out of a TV show, that is about watching a movie. The mystery science theater 3000 film, plays exactly like the TV show. They watch a Science fiction B-film and make fun of it.

The only difference that I can see is less commercials or pauses. The film they watched did allow for some great jokes, but not everything they say is funny so there are some down periods in the film as well.

I didn't know that MST3K had so much plot as well, but the show was usually on late and I was young and had to be at school in the morning. Overall good if you are a fan of the show, and probably better than a general episode because not as many commercials, however it does not need to be a film.
