Review of Mystery Men (1999) by Melissa A — 30 Apr 2010

A group of misfit men with unusual super powers, everything from bodily gas attacks to ninja-like skills with spoons, decide to ban together when the real-life superhero of the city, Captain Amazing is suddenly kidnapped. As they look for one another person to join their team, a feisty female heroine applies to show the men that her bowling ball can do much more than knock down pins.

If youâ??re looking for a laugh-out-loud movie, this would be the one to see. The story is definitely predictable but it doesnâ??t matter since the characters are so entertaining. There were some hilarious one-liners throughout and the cast was ideal especially Hank Azariaâ??s role as the Blue Raja.
