Review of Mystery Men (1999) by Paddy I — 03 Sep 2010

Man, what an awesome cast and an awesome premise that just fell a tiny bit short for me. There were some great moments, but I just kept rooting for more laughs and maybe more silliness - and not getting it.

I don't think they could have found better actors for each role if they tried for 100 years, and maybe that's why reviewers had high expectations. So, it didn't reach its potential, but definitely worth watching if you are in the mood for a comedy and a fun cast who at least seemed to be enjoying themselves in their roles.
