Mystery Men is fairly entertaining, enough for you not to get bored. The plot's OK, but the reason why this movie is good is the CAST. They pretty much got some perfect cast members such as Geoffrey Rush as Casanova Frankenstein, Ben Stiller as Mr.

Furious, and my personal favorite: Paul Reubens (Pee-Wee Herman) as The Spleen. The Bowler and the Sphinx are good too. If the movie were just 30% funnier, the movie would probably screw up EVERYTHING about comic book superheroes, because the movie is filled with things you would not expect from a superhero film.

I think this movie is a bit underrated...at least by major critics, but they're critics.
