Review of Mysterious Skin (2005) by Kenneth S — 29 Mar 2010
So brutally honest in its portrayal of sexual child abuse and pedophilia. The characters in this film are severely scarred by their childhood and by the end of the film, we see them fully-complex and developed.
The soundtrack is also great and the narrative is perfectly structured. Just a brilliant indie film that I think everyone should see. One of, if not, the most underrated films of the 00s.
