Review of Mysterious Skin (2005) by Maria G — 03 Jun 2010

This one took me by surprise! I had no idea what this movie would bring, other than gay characters. The story was strong as hell, really disturbing, and I never knew what to expect next. There was one thing I'm almost annoyed about, because it almost seems as one of the main characters is gay because of what happened to him when he was a child.

I know that this is not correct, the story is told in a manner so we know very well that he was gay before anything happened, but it still felt that way. The other main characters asexual state is more probable.

And yeah, very good acting by all these young boys! Well worth seeing!
