At times beautiful and gritty, Gregg Araki's work of art, 'Mysterious Skin' is a masterpiece. It's difficult to explain the impact this film had on me and I'm not going to write a philosophy paper but simplified this is a daring, middle-finger in the air work of originality and dreamful visuals that touches on a very taboo subject with great care.
