Review of Mysterious Skin (2005) by Anthony K — 07 Apr 2014
Good LORD this is one disturbing flick. The whole film is a freight train speeding toward a horrifying crash - and in this case a painful & dark revelation. As real as a film about this subject matter gets, and will probably be unwatchable to most given its frequent and graphic depictions of gay sex.
It's a shame too, JGL turns in an excellent performance, though the movie comes alive whenever Brian is on screen.
