This movie was entertaining but not smashing. Michelle Williams tries to channel Marilyn, but her performance doesn't inspire passions and doesn't exude the gravitational pull that would have explained why so many were fascinated by the star.
Kenneth Branagh plays well the role of an aging Lawrence Olivier and the actor playing Colin has the right amount of eagerness and naïvetà (C).
