Michelle Williams mezmerizes as the often flighty otherwise fragile film icon Marilyn in a movie that plays like a young infatuee's fond fleeting (maybe just a bit fabricated?) memory. Perhaps not revelatory, but it is charming as it only deepens the mystery and misery felt over a sizzling star's too-soon slumber.
