Review of My Week with Marilyn (2011) by Anatoly S — 04 May 2012
I had a strong connection with this film for some reason. Maybe, it's because I would loved to have had a relationship with the wonderful Marilyn Monroe. Eddie Redmayne does is impressive as an awestruck young man who I somehow related to, but of course, it's Michelle Williams who steals the show.
She can absolutely put all attention on herself, just like Monroe did, by completely capturing everything about the film icon. Kenneth Branagh was also amazing as Sir Laurence Olivier. My Week with Marilyn made my week as well as my list of favorite 2011 movies.
