Review of My Week with Marilyn (2011) by Keira R — 14 Jun 2012
Michelle Williams vanishes into the roll she was clearly borne to play, showing the same type of charm, exuberance, silliness and sexy that Marilyn did on and off screen, but most importantly presenting the incredible loneliness of the woman who was always pretending to be something she wasn't sure she wanted to be.
There was a wonderful moment where before meeting a throng of fans, she asks Colin "Should I be her?" and then Norma Jean puts on the face of Marilyn Monroe and gives the fans the version they want.
