I love how Kenneth Branaugh gets to play Olivier here after being compared to Olivier for his entire career. We actually get a nice method acting vs. classical acting debate going on as a subtext to this film and there are some nice inside jokes.
Michelle Williams tries her best but she doesn't have the look to make us believe that that there is something unearthly about Marilyn.
