Review of My Week with Marilyn (2011) by Caz H — 10 Oct 2013

This film boasts an impressive cast that give an array of impressive performances. Really enjoyable, but I was never quite sure who the centre of this film was supposed to be and I never felt as though I completely connected with any of the characters.

However I did enjoy the fact that most of the characters were treated ambiguously and that no-one was really to blame for what happened. It definitely seemed to be a bit of a coming of age tale for Colin but I felt as though the experience could have been a bit less romanticised and a little more brutal with how it ended.

But it was sweet and I did really enjoy it.
