Review of My Way (2012) by Luis S — 25 Mar 2013
In Brotherhood of War, the director strived to give the audience a crying scene every 20 minutes. In My Way he upped the ante and inserted one in every five or ten minutes. This was way past overkill. It was soap opera territory.
An important battle ruined by "bring out your handkerchief" scenes? Why? Is this expected in So. Korea? It must be because the film would've been much better without them. This film was probably more implausible than Brotherhood of War but it's probably still worth seeing just for the history it represents and the graphic scenes of war.
