I love Martin Scorsese. Here you have a streetwise kid from the Bowery...grows up to be a filmmaker of unquestionable vitality...and now humbly takes the time to guide you, without a whiff of pretension, through the best chunks of the Italian films that electrified him as a youth.
I vow to one day put my arms around him. Thanks is not enough.
