Review of My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006) by Thony F — 28 Aug 2010
A super half hour episode of a super clutz that was super boring except for a few 'yea macho' moments (the sarcasim was wasted).
This guy Luke not the 'Owen Wilson' was the culprit for my laughs, haven't liked him in much and as with many, think his dopey brother is a better hit, but along with his friendship with the co star or the script it worked for me albeit only in a couple of places.
Anna Faris has an extrodinary uncanny beauty so is a pleasing other girl, not the female lead actress Uma Thurman whom I must say plays a very ordinary part.
Effects were crap and repetitive and plot enoigh to keep a bored teen excited.
Not much depth and yet aimed at the younger audiences lost me on another level near the start, good enough.
