Review of My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006) by Jenny M — 28 Dec 2008

Not spectacular, but certainly entertaining and cute in it's own way. Obviously an attempt to cash in on this decade's slew of super hero films, and who can really blame them? At least it's not something akin to Epic Movie.

After Kill Bill and some others, it was good to see Uma in another comedic/romantic role. Haven't had much experience with Wilson outside of a good episode of The X-Files, but he comes through here as a decent, average Joe with some very funny matter-of-fact dialogue.

Also nice to see Anna Ferris in something slightly serious. She may have a career outside Scary Movie and it's progeny, after all. Always a pleasure to see The Izz but I think he should have lost the fake accent.

Overall, a neat story and possibly a good date movie that can be enjoyed by both.
